This year Room 16 conducted the ANZAC Day ceremony and four generations the Hardingham Family attended the commemoration.
Shannon (front) , is a year 4 student from Room 16; from the left we have her father Brad Hardingham, her Grandmother, Linda Hardingham, her Great Grandmother Gloria Hardingham (who is 98 years young!), and her mother, Michelle Hardingham.
Both of Shannon’s Great Grandfathers served in the military. George Hardingham (1915 – 2011) was in the Royal Australian Air Force and served in New Guinea and New Britian. Joseph Forster (1920 –1989) was in the Australian Infantry and served in the Middle East and New Guinea.
Shannon is very proud of her Great Grandfathers and was especially please to have her Great Grandmother, as well as the rest of her family, attend ANZAC Day.
